Lap-Band & Medicare

Hello.I have just joined this site to help a relative.I am so pleased to see all the people who are happier,thinner & ready for a new life. I am looking to find a link or input on having lap-band but need to know which Surgeons In Oklahoma accept medicare. Any input & responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dr. Gornichec tells people during his seminar that although he's not quite there yet with Medicare, he's referring people to Dr. Keith at OWLO (in Norman), as Dr. Keith's practice accepts it. Good luck! Cathy

Hi! And welcome to Oklahoma forum! I can tell you up fron that Dr. Keith and Dr. Nelson in Norman are the only surgeons in or near OKC that are a Center of Excellance. Which is a medicare approved center. The only other place is St. Francis in Tulsa witha DR. Fisher. The web site for Dr. Keith is www.OWLO.com. Go on that site print off the packet fill it out call them and schedule a seminar. After the seminar you can be approved with 7 business days.  Dr. Keith is my surgeon and he is a really great guy. He also has a online support group called Living Our Dreams. When you go on OWLO just click on support groups and you will be on your way. Take care cause I care.....Pattye
