I think I have....

I think I have a case of the Mondays (Office Space) - on a Wednesday (it is Wednesday - isn't it?). What is up with today?  I've got the blahs for some odd reason.  Does anyone else?  Is there a full moon or a blue moon tonight or something?  Do we have odd weather coming in or something?  Or, is it just me - and it's just a freakin odd day? Please, someone say it's not just me - not that I want anyone else to have a blah day - I just don't want to feel 'special' in a blah way. Tonja

It's not just you Tonja! My day was kinda blah as well. I found out today per Dr. Schwartz that I have sleep apnea. Then, I went to get my perscription of albuterol filled and it turns out that my doctor wrote for the wrong one and it was going to cost me $35! That's just craziness. So, now I have to sit here another day without my albuterol just because my doctor didn't pay attention to what she was doing.  So, my day has been blah indeed.

Ohhhh  Mannnn, Its Wednesday*@?#?!  I was sure it was MONDAY today also.  I have to agree 100% that it has been a very weird one.  I was SO ready to leave work tonight.! Tonja,  If we are the only ones that feel this way then, I guess we are in good company! hehehe    I'm ready to get on the treadmill and leave this odd day behind.  Bring on the weekend!  We are almost ready to leave this wednesday behind. -Sandy

I have a TOTAL case of the Mondays. I'm just so damn tired and lethargic...and I'm on day 3 of a non-stop headache.  I'm certainly not dehydrated, and I don't suffer migraines, so I can't figure it out (oh, yes I can...and so can the ladies on the board) Anyway, I'm ready for Friday, so I can have my final consult with Dr. G. I am adding my name to this list. Got up feeling groggy still from the sleeping pill I took Monday night that made me sleep almost 36 hours. Then Dr. Keith's office called me to ask if I have started my follow up care from my mammogram/ultrasound. I was like Huh duh what? Seems like the lump in my breast is something to be concerned about. My pcp has not called me so I called and left a message (today is her day off).  So one more delay in getting my surgery.   I am thinking its in the air that we are all having the blahs. Just think tomorrow is a new day! YEpphie!

Here is to finalizing our testing to get on the ball with our surgery and getting rid of headaches!  Here is to everything going to be A-Okay with mammograms/ultrasounds.  Here is to having a great workout on the treadmill.  Here is to getting the right prescription.  Here is to not being the only one who had a crazy blah day.  Here is to going ahead and going to church tonight even though I didn't really feel like it - and it turned out to be awesome!  Here is to having great friends on this board that we can share our feelings - our craziness - our blah days with - and not being judged for it.  Tomorrow is another day and I think we all know not to take each day too seriously. You all are awesome! Tonja

Heh, I'll jump on too-rough trip home ended in being left in the middle of Will Rogers airport in my wheelchair-I finally got tired and just wheeled myself to the baggage area (that ramp was kind of dicey but a nice guy helped me up).  Then I wheeled out and got a cab ....I SHOWED THEM.  But really, why should I hurt my foot when there was a perfectly good wheelchair and I have perfectly good arms.  There IS an airport rule about wheeling yourself around, but if they want to enforce it they need to provide a wheeler.  It actually cheered me up quite a bit to wheel off my bad mood and I was laughing by the time I got home.
