With him doing everything at Bailey Med Center, is anyone having trouble with them being out of network?

I think it would depend on what is in network out of network for your insurance company.  Wish I could be more help-I was self pay.  But I wanted to respond to your email and let you know I'm pulling for you!

From what I understand, Bailey Med is out of network for most ppl.   I have Cigna, I can use out of network hospitals, but my co-pay is higher...

Im doing good.  Went to Dr. G's seminar today.  I honestly don't know what to think.  He didn't tell me anything I did know after 4 years of research.  I am a little concerned that they charge $200 for the first office visit and refuse to bill this to insurance.?!?!  They call it a processing fee.   I am just mostly concerned as to why exactly they moved to Bailey?  Why?  For what reason?  Do they understand many ppl won't be able to use Bailey under their insurance?  Were they asked to leave Southcrest, so they had no choice?  I want to know this stuff...lol

Don't know about OKC, but in Dallas 200-300 first visit not billable to insurance is standard operating procedure.  My psych evaluation was not covered either.

Renee, Are you talking about Dr. Grospie (sp?) in Tulsa or Dr. Gornichec in OKC? Tonja

We pay a $300 processing fee for Dr. Gornichec.  It's not uncommon to have a policy like that.  Afterall, they go through a lot of work to get us ready for surgery and if we cancel, then they've wasted their time. ...and from what I understand, a lot of people cancel. Cathy
