Dr. Keith patient Love this man update on me

Those that haven't followed i was 4 years out this past June had a baby 15 months ago and after the baby i went on the depo gained 41 pounds in 3 months surgeon said it could very well have been the cause of the gain and i AM NO LONGER ON THE SHOT!! Anyways I had a scope done 2 weeks ago to find I had severe gerd and the opening to my stomach is 20mm and not the size it should be and i had a 2cm sliding hiatal hernia the good thing my stomach thought is the size it should be being 4 years post op. So i seen the surgeon about the scope and other findings and this is my update. . Update. I seen my surgeon and i have been setup to have an upper endoscopy and a ph study test done 8/23 will be at hospital all day on the 23rd alone cause hubby starts his new job that day.. After surgeon figures out why i my stomach is making acid and causing severe gerd well will talk the issue of the opening of my stomach being stretched from the size of a dime to 20mm. Marsha, Which surgery did you have? I understand about the Depo shots.  I took them years ago and  OH MY GOSH  the weight gain is definately the down side. Keep us posted! Tonja

I had lap rny in 2003.. Yes depo is not a nice thing. But things are looking up and we are getting some were and finding out that most if not all is not my fault for the weight gain. I don't eat hardly as it is now my hair is falling out. Anyways will keep you posted Thanks for replying
