Here I am all!!!!

Back home in the comfort of my own house. On Tuesday the 14th I was scheduled to have surgery at 1:00 but it didn't happen till 4:30! (Bailey Medical Center) I guess some of the others had complications.  Then I didn't get out of surgery until 8:30! I had a 3 for 1 surgery!!! LOL Bypass Gallbladder Hernia (???) Did know I had that one.  Anyway....everything turned out just fine. Nurses couldn't believe how well I was doing...walking...talking....just everything. I got to come home wed evening! I was happy about that.  I haven't been taking very many pain pill until nighttime hits....then I need something.

Just wanted to let everyone know how I was doing.....I did get a couple of emails from some of you and that meant the work to be. Thank you! Sarah

Congrats Sarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It sounds like you're doing great, just take it easy and give yourself time to heal. You may be overdoing just a tad and thats why the pain comes in the evening.  Sip, sip, sip... that was the hardest part for me as I didn't "want" anything.  Give a shout out if you have any questions, but of course, check with your doctor/nut for "real" advice.  HUGS

Congratulations Sarah on being on the loser side now.  Sorry about the extra time and all but at least it all ended well and you are home.  I can not wait to be on the losing side myself.  Only two more weeks....and this would be the third date set for me (my fault the other two didnt happen) but i am getting there.

Good luck on your progress and take care of yourself. Deni

Yes, it is soooooo great to have the surgery done with.  I still can't believe it happened. (Not bragging here....) but everything just happened so fast.

I mean, in July I had my intake visit and then Aug 14th had surgery. Basically from the time I got scheduled, it was 3 wks and then boom I'm done. Mind is spinning!!!!!

Thanks all!!!!

Sarah

Hooray for you!  I'm glad your surgery went well and you are beginning to feel better.  It's a good thing he removed your gall bladder now, so you don't have to have another surgery later. You are blessed to have gotten your surgery so quickly!  Keep us posted on your loss, you won't believe how fast it will come off! :) Staci
