YIPPIE!!! We made it to FRIDAY!! I'm looking forward to spending some time with the family this weekend. Believe it or not after the kids being in school all week, I'm ready for them to be home! GEEEE, some one take my temperature!!

ROFL My poor kids are already BEGGING to home school again!! I keep telling them that it just takes time and that they'll adjust to school and what not very soon. Sooooo, what are ya'll doing doing this weekend?????????

I get to spend the weekend sick. I have strep throat, again. Man, I hate being sick!! My daughter is also sick and so is her daddy. We make quite a site the 3 of us, coughing, sipping hot coffee (tea for her) and eating soft foods because of the sore throat. I am scrapbooking my weight loss journey so that will give me something to do this weekend.

Oh Lois - I'm sorry your family is all sick. That's NEVER a good way to spend the weekend. It reminds me of a funny but true story. When my kids were little (I mean like 6,5,2,1) they all got the flu at once. It was horrible. DH was dragging himself to work and I was left home with four whinning, sick little babies. Well, I can NOT do vomit!!! Absolutely positively no way... I literally will pass out if around it. Of course I had two babies not old enough to make it to the bathroom for those types of things, but my older two were well trained in the art of "early detection" and running to the bathroom!! Well someone lost it all. As they were running through the house (thank God we had hard wood floors and not carpet) so there a "trail" all through my house and dh isn't going to be home for hours. Out of TOTAL desperation - I PAID my 6 year old $5.00 to clean it up for me!!!!! Isnt that horrible. I can't believe that I was such a whimp that I couldn't buck up and do it myself. She's 19 years old now and I'm sure if anyone mentions vomit she'd be telling that story. Be WELL!!!!!

now that is funny!!LOL I learned early on to give my daughter the vomit bowl. It was this great big huge yellow mixing bowl that she kept with her every where she went. She would puke in it, then empty it into the toilet. The only "clean up" I had to do was to flush. She hated to flush.

My plans keep changing. I was going to a support group meeting plus a clothing exchange now I might not go. My other has a day off on the weekend but he will use it to sleep( has worked 21 days straight). So I am thinking of running away on along drive to nowhere. Can you tell I am bored?

You can run away to Broken Arrow, we've got a nice pool at our apartment complex. At least that way you can be "bored" in style. LOL

Awh thanks! We have one here but its always crowded with kids that are not supervised and when I go they want me to play with them and teach them how to swim....

I'll be getting ready to go to the hospital on Monday. I've been on the liquid diet since Wednesday and I'm starving! Tomorrow it's clear liquids only. I'm going to see my Mom who's in a nursing home in Missouri tomorrow so I hope that'll take my mind off my hunger. I'll also visit my sister and brother in Wyandotte. Today I've got to pick up dry cleaning, prescriptions and get groceries.

Well, Friday was a bad day. I guess I have a sinus infection and I felt like complete crap. Today I am up at the church, putting the finishing touches on my new office (YEAH!) I am better, but it's amazing how fast it hit me. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! Tonja
