Fun Topic-What changes have you made?

What non food/non clothes changes have you made as a result of either WLS or preparation for it? It's too soon to buy clothes and the eating is working for me.  I did a little soul searching and decided I would buy a horse-46 years is long enough to wait, don't you think? I've also started working out in the yard a lot more. I keep waiting for the clothing gene to kick in, but I think it may be dead.  I am sitting here in a T-dye shirt and a pair of khaki shorts with an ink stain on them. I may be a slob.

I am getting out more and telling people off like I use to. Just being the ornery person I have always been just more of it.                                                                                          

I just can't wait for my band so I'll have the energy to make all the changes I'm eager to make. These include:

landscaping geocaching (again) home repairs camping with kids more sex (can I say that on here?) not to mention...taking a hot bath and not worrying about getting stuck in the tub. I'm sure there are more...that's all I can think of right now. Cathy

I've never been on a cruise, although I am a mexico junkie.  I do want to go on a cruise some day.  Pati, I think I am more assertive than I was, which is really funny because I haven't lost that much weight, but with the band I feel like I have claimed my body back.  (I don't know if that makes sense or not and body size is no reason to be assertive or non assertive....rambling)  Sex??? I remember that.  I just bought a house one house down from my parents...THEN got the band.  Jokes on me, right?

Update:  I actually flirted with someone today-don't know what got into me.

It is fun to flirt and to get flirted at.  It's a good feeling! Tonja
