Hi Kathy! Welcome to this fun adventure.  My advice to you is - don't give up.  It all takes time.  Once it's done - you will love it. Hello, Everyone! 1. Who are you? Charlotte 2. Where do you live? Edmond 3. Are pre or post op of what surgery? Pre-op RNY 4. Who is your surgeon? Dr. Greg Walton 5. Self pay or insurance? Self pay 6. How close to goal are you? I have to lose 30 pounds before surgery, and I've lost 10..I'm down a dress size. 7.Do you attend support group regularly? I've been to 1 that was required. I'm glad I went..it was the first time I'd laughed all day. 8. What is the one thing that you look forward to doing or have achieved since having surgery? Haven't had it yet, but I look forward to better health and smaller dress sizes...never being embarrassed about having a picture taken again. I've promised myself that I will wear a bikini in public when this experience is over. 9. If you could do one thing differently, what would it be? Waiting this long to take action.

Hi Charlotte, I understand about having pictures taken.  I've gotten better - but I've had to do a lot of work on myself as far as realizing that I am different person now.  As women, we tend to still see the same fat person that we were - rather than accepting the person that we are now.   Looking forward to hearing about your surgery!
