Happy Monday Everyone

Well, here it is again, almost Monday.  I am posting this on Sunday evening, as I hang on to the final vestiges of my weekend.  They are never long enough, and the weeks always too long.  As I am a public servant, I feel the extreme length of each work week, and my work is never done.  I enjoy what I do, but I really enjoy the time off even more!

I hope that all of you have a wonderful week ahead, and for any of you who are having your surgery this week, God bless and God speed! :) Staci

Week days?  what are those? OHHHH those are the days that interfere with the other days that I enjoy! Why couldn't the work week be four days long and week ends 3 sounds good to me. But it is all the same for me. Such is life I have fun no matter what day it is...just more on some than others. Have a great week in the rat race and be kind to someone it just might cause an epidemic...

I think if it wasnt for the 4 kids in my house and my husband I would truly forget what day it is.  I thought that when we came back to the states and I decided to be a stay at home mom that things would be less hectic, boy was i ever wrong.  If it isnt doctor appointments, vet appointments, dentists, sports, frg meetings, pta meetings, getting my oldest ready for college this fall and my youngest registered for daycare/preschool I myself am going to school fulltime trying to finish my Bachelors.  I really dont know what I was thinking....lol.... I do enjoy my weekends but sometimes wish that I was working again but at the moment not enough to go back just yet.  Tomorrow I have to drive down to Brownwood, TX (4-5 hours) to drop off my youngest daughter for camp.  She is attending a free camp for military children called "Operation Purple Ribbon".  If it wasnt for that I probably wouldnt even be leaving the house this week...too hot outside and this Alaskan butt does not like this Oklahomian heat.... I like my a/c. I hope everyone has an awesome week.... Cant wait for school to start again so I can have some peace and quiet in the house again during the say (somewhat).

Hi Staci,

I noticed that you are down 92 pounds.  I just checked out your photos, you look great.  I wouldn’t have guessed that they were the same person.  Only eight more pounds to the century mark.  Have a great week.

I am taking a few weeks off to let my band heal my head heal from severe burnout and try to figure out what I want to BE when I grow up.  It's not as easy as it sounds-I've always worked and my head is screaming "aaaaagh, what are you doing........GET BUSY" but I'm trying to go off in new directions not just healthwise. I just moved back from OKC after 20 years in Dallas.  Lots to think about, but I am very forutnate in that I can heal and get used to my band without a lot of outside interference.  I'm spending lots of time with my Mom and my Dad and my elderly Uncle, but they are all very conscious of "my needs". Hopefully, I will have redefined my eating patterns before I go back into "public".

Hi Staci! You're looking fantastic!  I've been working 33 years full time and I'm looking forward to retirement in a year and a half.  For 11 months I've been working at home 2 days a week and I know I'm very lucky to be able to do that.  My boss agreed to it because I have a lot of pain in my knees.  I'll be able to work from home after my surgery a lot sooner than if I had to come to the office.  My surgery is four weeks from today!

Pam

Hi everyone!  Thank you for your replies.  I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well so far this week.  Now it is Tuesday, and it is really thundering up a storm outside.  If it's going to rain, I wi**** would get on with it!   Terry07, I don't know if I will make it to the century mark or not, you never know.  My goal is 115, which is now 4 pounds away.  That would have me losing 97 pounds.  Of course three more wouldn't hurt my feelings!
