I got my new surgery date....

Well, I will have to say that my appointment today went quite well.  I half expected my doctor to tell me that he wasnt going to give me a date until after September 2nd but he told me today that as long as I stay quit smoking I will have my surgery on September 4th.  He stated that on August 21st he was going to test my blood or something for nicotine to make sure.... Now I am excited since my surgery is up and going again..... Yah....

I am very excited for you.  Quitting smoking is going to make your surgery sooooo much easier.  After a few weeks, your lungs clear up and you wonder why you didn't do it sooner.  There is a place called quit net or something like that is a good place to get support for quitting.  And of course, you have our support as well.

Awesome! You've got the hardest part of quitting smoking licked I think, so it should be smooth sailing from here :-) Congrats on the new date!
