New & Excited

My name is Sarah and I am 24. I live in Sallisaw and go to Ft. Smith quite often. I am looking at have the Rny Gastric Bypass done. I have already been to my intake visit with Dr. Gorospe. He really seems like he knows what he is doing! I am so very excited.  If anyone has any experiences they have to share about Dr. Gorospe, that would be great.!

I have only had my Intake visit. I am getting really excited to start the whole process!

HI Sarah, Dr. G is my doctor and he is wonderful.  Have you been to one of his support group meetings yet?  You will meet allot of nice people and Dr. G is at all the meetings for Q & A.   I'm having surgery on July 25th. Good luck to you... you have the best doc!

Haven't been to one of the meetings yet. I just had my intake visit. That is so exciting that you have a date. It is just around the corner!!!! How long did it take for you to do all of the tests? When did you first have your intake visit? How long was it before they contacted you to schedule your first appointment? What insurance do you have? ----Sorry for all the questions! I am hoping to have it done by Sept!!!!

Congrats on your decision.  I used Dr. Fisher with Surgical Associates in Tulsa, but I have some friends who used Dr. Gorospe and they were very happy with him.  Best of luck to you.
