Marsha, When I saw the shrink he spent about an hour with me. Ask me everything from did I have a problem with toilet training to was I abused as a child. His first question was a trick question,  he asked me when did I have this epiphany, meaning did I just wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for GBS, but I was waiting for him, because that was the one thing that my dr. said that they wanted to be sure of, that I hadn't just woke up and thought wow this what I want to do, but after that things went really well. It was really just a general conversation about my life, my family, my brothers, and my spouse. I really actually liked the guy, and felt better after I talked to him. Don't sweat it. It isn't bad at all.  Hope this helps. Janna

Marsha, I saw a lady here in Tulsa (even though I'm a patient of Dr G's) and it was just casual conversation. She didn't ask me any weird questions - I think she just wanted to get a feel for how I would handle the lifestyle changes, the support that I had from family and friends, and to ensure that I didn't think losing weight would "fix" all of life's other challenges and obstacles. Good luck! Cheryl
