I'm thinking yes, but I'm not positive. Your best bet is to call a few surgeons office and talked to their billing person...they will have a wealth of knowledge.

Yes, it does.  However, only at a surgeon considered to be a Center of Excellence.  My surgeon's office in Tulsa OK is a Center of Excellence and they have a ton of medicare patients!  Let me know if you want info on them.  :) Staci

The Medicare web site  has on it the following hospitals in Oklahoma City area the hospital in Norman(on Te****eh Rd) The surgeons that are approved are Ronnie Keith and Lana Nelson. There are other surgeons in the area but that hospital is the approved one beside the hospital in Tulsa.  Not much choice is there.... DR. Nelson's office number is405-360-7100. I go on the 28th to his seminar. As for a PCP I go to Putnam Family Medicine  Clinic. They accept both medicare and medicaid. Hope this helps.
