Oklahoma has more shoreline than the entire USA.  That used to be a state tourism pitch.  There are lots of lakes. Keystone Lake is about 15 miles west of Tulsa.  I guess that would be the closest. Then there is Sequoyah Lake in Wagoner/Muskogee County.  There are so many wonderful State Parks here I would suggest going to www.oklahomaparks.com Right now due to the rains over the last 2 months all the lakes are above normal levels. I would think that by the time you get to Oklahoma and get settled they should be at normal levels You and your little fishys should enjoy a day at the lake.  I must say however I think one of the most scenic lakes is Lake Tenkiller.  Have fun

Tenkiller and Marval Family camping grounds along with the other state parks are all fun, beaches though, lol, NO, but lakes and fishing yes.  There is a water park in Tulsa also that is fun at 21st and Yale.

Beaches?! Your note cracked me up! I used to live in Florida, so I'm familiar with REAL beaches! Out here, I am a pool girl. I do not like to go into any water where I can't see what my feet are touching! Looking forward to your arrival in BA! All the best, Cheryl
