Just getting Started

Hi I'm Becky I'm 32 live in the Tulsa area and am looking for people like me who have struggled with weight all their lives and have either gone through the Lab-band procedure or are working on it etc. Looking for advise on financing, doctors, and support. My family is totally against the surgery and I don't have the support from them. Will be going to my inital seminar on 6/4/07. My insurance doesn't cover any weight loss treatments. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Becky, good luck with everything.  I have not had any support from my family either.  I have 2 friends that have been my life lines in just seeing me through all the pre-op tests.  If it were not for them, I would be totally alone.
