Good grief working the arts festival with their food court with tempting odors all around the blocks..argggg!!! How many, many years ago would I have saved up to just 'pig out' and eat all kinds of desserts? Not anymore, but wow the desserts sure look pretty and the cooking smells wonderful! LOL it doesn't help that we get free vouchers for food! see? even long termers get tempted!!! man oh man...

Wow Bree - I just looked at your pics and you look awesome! What an inspiration! I'm considering going to the Arts Festival tomorrow (friday) if it doesn't rain and get wicked crazy outside. (I know it's bound to hit sooner or later - we've been too lucky so far!) From what I think I read - it sounds like you had been in Australia - tell us about it! Tonja - in or near OKC too!

Thank you for the compliment! I feel I worked hard to get to my lowest weight and I struggle now what with not being released to be doing the level of exercise I was doing at my lowest weight. The surgery is a wonderful tool and gift! At this point I'm 32 lbs above my lowest, but "only" 22 lbs above where I stayed solidly with what I was doing then. Running for me is the big key it kept me very small on the lower body. The last to go is the FIRST to come back! and by golly gee I'm a darned PEAR! so the lower body is where the weight has come back on. urgg! But I do wonder now if the stoma had not opened up if any of that weight would have come back on? but hey...you learn tricks and I'm having to while I wait to see if the doc I called and talked to can figure out what to do. Life is good! (ie: I had a deep pelvic injury from an assault)
