Any Tulsa Medicare doctors?

I am in NW Arkansas with no local LapBand surgeons. I wonder if anyone can tell me of anyone in Tulsa who accepts Medicare patients. I would hope they would have a website so I could see all about their practice but would appreciate anyone who has had a good experience with one and knows they take Medicare, please reply. Hi Carol, I am not 100% sure but I believe Surgical Associates of Tulsa accepts medicare. They are on the web at surgassoc.com or call 918.481.4800. Good luck! The two doctors there are Dr. Katsis and Dr. Fisher. I have been very pleased with them. Kathy

Yes, Surgical Associates in Tulsa is now a Center of Excellence, which means medicare will pay for your surgery with them. The website mentioned in the previous post has a wealth of information. Dr. Kevin Fisher from this office did my RNY in Oct. 2006 and I have been very pleased with everything. You will have a wait, I will say that, but it will be worth it.
