DR. FLOYD IS GONE, WHERE DO I GET A FILL?

I have tried several doctors. They either cost a fortune or do not take another doctor's patient. Anyone get the list of recommended doctors? Or can you suggest where to go? I live in muskogee and its quite a drive for me and I spoke with a Dr. Katsis in tulsa, the girls in the office were very rude. If anyone knows someone in the tulsa area or even in ft smith, ar area, that would be even better..... Somebody help!!

I live in Muskogee also and Dr. Gorospy in Tulsa will see patients who get there surgery out of the USA so I would imagine he would see you. You could contact them and ask.

Hi Chelle- Sorry to hear of your trouble and abandoment by Dr. Philip Floyd. I am in the midst of trying to sue this nut...as are several other people. There seems to be lots of his patients that need fills and were supposed to get a list of physicians from Kenny (who used to work at Floyd's office). We actually drove from KS to Edmond and retrieved my medical records because they would not send them to me - even when a lawyer requested them. Those records were across the street from his old office. Dr. Pierce (who used to be in the same office as Floyd) is in this new office and you might try there. Unfortunately for me I don't need a fill - ever again. My lap band was put in 12/14/05 and removed 11/6/06 - it had adhered to my stomach wall and had to be removed immediately. $15,000 down the drain - my insurance would not pay for this surgery so I borrowed the money from Capital One. Yes, I lost weight but not as much as I thought I would and I almost lost my life in the process. I contracted a deadly superbug called MRSA during the removal of this lap band and was off work for almost 3 months. I wish everyone luck that ever had that idiot has a physician!

Hi Renee, it's Reva. You and I have emailed. I DO have a phone number for him, it's his direct line. The message is pretty clear. He no longer does ANY Gastric Bypass surgery or Banding (thank God). I have more information for you if you need it. I too have contacted an attorney. MANY of us have. Here in Altus, I recently met two wonderful people, man and wife who both had the surgery with him. The husband is extremely lucky to even be alive after going to a coma. I can't believe ANY hospital would use Floyd as a physician. This has to stop, the pain I have is constant. There is a Dr. Aaman in Houston Texas who I will be going to, he does complete reversals of the RNY. Another bundle of money out of my pocket, but it's going to be a life saving procedure. Also, I have found online several suits against him. Amazing isn't it? I asked him flat out if he EVER had a patient die, or had EVER had any problems with his patients. NO was his answer. I now have proof that he lied about that. Thank God for the State of Oklahoma Medical Board.
