ANY PROBLEMS WITH DR. PHILIP FLOYD - EDMOND???

I have had a major issue with Dr. Floyd. I know several of you have. PLEASE let's get together and make this guy pay for what he has done to all of us...I plan to take him to court and am in the process right now of getting that started. He should not be practicing medicine of any kind. I'm sure that is why he's vanished from the Edmond area and is no longer practicing medicine there. If any of you are looking for someone to do your lapband or your fills - STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. As always, these are my opinions but based on my own personal facts.

I too have had problems with Dr. Floyd. I will be contacting an attorney tomorrow. I am in constant pain, have been hospitalized many times. Dr. Floyd seems to have disappeared. He did NO follow up with me. His office always had the excuse he was "on vacation" or "out of the office".

I had surgery with Dr Floyd in Dec 05 and didn't have any major problems, but wasn't very pleased with his overall care. What kind of problems are you guys having and was it something that should have already happened to me? I have not lost weight nearly as quickly as people that used different doctors and wonder exactly what he actually did. I have heard that most lawyers will not take a case involving gastric bypass since it is an elective surgery. I am assuming that this is incorrect. Please let me know if there is something I should be looking for. Thanks and good luck!

THE ONLY PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS I NEVER GOT "THE LIST". THE DOCTORS HE RECCOMMENDED. I GOT A CALL FROM KENNY AND HE SAID HE WOULD MAIL IT AND NO SHOW. HE WAS VERY NICE ABOUT IT. I ALSO REQUESTED ANOTHER RECEIPT FOR THE CASH PAYMENT I GAVE THEM. I DON'T THINK THESE ARE TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR CONSIDERING WHAT HAS HAPPENED. ALOT OF DOCTORS ARE TELLING ME THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANOTHER DOCTOR'S PATIENT SO THIS LIST IS CRUCIAL TO ME. I KEEP TRYING BUT SOME DOCTOR'S WANT UP TO $2000.00 UP FRONT FOR FILLS!! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? I DON'T HAVE ANY PHYSICAL AILMENTS SO I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS THERE. I DO HOWEVER DON'T WANT TO SEE $15,000 go down the drain!! I WOULD LIKE TO MAINTAIN MY LAP BAND AND REACH MY GOALS.

It is really heartbreaking that so many of you did not recieve great care from Dr. Floyd. I am seeing Dr. Keith for a revision. His number is: 405-360-7100 he is located in norman, oklahoma. Hope that he can help you. Jp
