New To area need info please

Hello to all!!! Im new to the state and just beginning my journey hoping to finally have wls.....looking for primary care physician in the Tulsa area that is wls friendly , can anyone point me in the right direction. currently have Cigna , ive read some horror stories so im ready for an uphill battle lol Also if there is a support group in the area i would love to attend so if you could be so kind as to pass that info on as well i would appreciate it very much.....Thanks in advance and have a great day!!!!!

Suggest you contact Surgical Associates and they can refer you to a primary care physician. Surgical Associates has a support group that meets every month. The next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 10. Their website is surgassoc.com (I think). You can get all the info there.

My doc is very understanding about this. He's younger, so maybe that's why. When I went to get a physical with him, and told him why I needed the physical, I told him I was trying to schedule the lap band, would he please give me his permission, he said he thought it would be a great idea in my case. WOW? or what? I thought he would try to talk me out of it. I will ask him if he minds me giving his name out for that reason, so just email me [email protected] , and I will tell you who to ask for.

Welcome to Broken Arrow. I go to a lady named Janhavi Rao. She is at 91st and Mingo. I really like her and many of my friends and family members like her too.
