Stalled and paranoid!

I feel like I'm stalled right where I'm at. I've lost a total of 127 lbs, however the last 13 were done over 1 1/2 months. Is there something more I can/need to be doing that I'm not already doing? I walk all the time and I've stopped drinking tea and diet soda's and am just drinking water now. Help!!

IT's good you've stopped the tea and sodas. Sodas are bad news for those with WLS. You must be diligent and ensure that you are following the rules of your surgery as though you're only 2 weeks post op. I speak from experience. Over drinking for gastric banding patients is a killer. (you don't specify what surgery you had). Stay completely away from sugar in any form, refined or otherwise. limit yourself on anything white (potatoes, refined white flour products, etc..); starches also. You could be over doing it on carbos, even though you eat very little amounts of them. Stick with water or sugar free crystal light drinks, or kool-aid using splenda in place of sugar(believe me, it takes wonderful after being completely off sugar after about 2 weeks.).....otherwise, if you are following all your rules here, it sounds like you're just hitting a plateau. It may take a few weeks to start down down again, but you WILL start down again eventually. You must be patient. keep your chin up!

Crystal YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!! Just read over your profile and the fight you had with the insurance company. Can totally relate although I didn't fight with them I just mortgaged myself to the hilt and paid it out of pocket. Just had the surgery last Wednesday, (I had LapBand) and look forward to continued weight loss and INCREASED LIFE!!! As with any losing program there are going to be plateaus, hang in there, you are doing FANTASTIC!!!
