Well I will not be able to attend the meeting in April unfortunately as my surgery in April 4th!! 
but by the meeting in May I would love to attend!!! so I will add or confirm a friends request!!! My mom told me about a support group here in Coldwater also?? Turns out they are allll over!!! I think I will attend at least 2 groups though!!! I love interacting with people and one can never have too many friends!! Thanks sooo much!

Our Lima group right now usually has about 12 people at each meeting. Last meeting was 8 I think and we have had 15 as a top so far. Seems that we grow about one person each month. There are probably 25 or so members, but not everyone makes each meeting.
We welcome anyone interested....family,friend,or foe. We meet at Lima Memorial Hospital in a meeting room under the ER. As a rule signs are posted at the main entrance and the ER as well. April meeting we are to have ChefJeff cook for us and it is to be at a members home. I am having trouble getting in touch with Jeff and that may change.
Check out Koreamom on OH. She is on my friends list and lives in Celina. She is not on here much but you may catch her. There are three other gals in St. Marys and 2 others in Coldwater. There really are a good number of wls people in the area, the problem is letting them know about our group. So if you know of any others, feel free to invite them to jion us. We are very informal and talk about just about anything user the sun.
I will put you on my friends list and from there I can send you an invitation to join the on-line group. I try to keep all the information about the Lima meeting updated there. By the way...I do go to support group meetings at Miami Valley Hosp. in Dayton the 2nd Tuesday of the month. I also volunteer at the nursing home in Cridersville that has a bariatric unit with 8 or 9 people.

I am having surgery April 4th and will be joining you all on the Loser's Bench soon!! why don't we contact whoever our leaders are at the support groups and do a "Yard Sale" type theme once a season? for Free? or small donations? maybe to raise money for the group possilbly to raise money to go somewhere or do something fun? Just a thought?

How great!! Greenville is perfect and sooo much closer than Toledo!! I am so excited!! My surgery is April 4th so by May I should be feeling much better 
... Is family welcome at meetings? My mom is my biggest support and I would love for her to come with me ?? I would feel fine about donations and bringing healthy treats!! I want to be a part of your group

If you are ever in Central Ohio / Columbus area get to the Goodwill! They are full of good stuff and really really cheap!!!
