Hi Liz...So nice to hear from you...its normal to doubt yourself, as I did the same thing....I actually cried for weeks, because I was seeing all my family and friends eating foods that I couldnt have, foods that I craved and wanted too...The food networking channels made me cry...Food commercials made me cry...Its all part of the process to becoming thinner and healthier...Try to focus on how much healthier you will be once you lose weight...Think about all the smaller and beautiful clothes that you will be able to fit into...Think about how you will be able to do things that you most likely havent been able to do...Try to focus on doing something else besides wanting to eat...Perhaps do a craft, start a journal,  call a friend on the phone, read a book, just anything to keep your mind busy.

We would love to have you in our group...We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 at the East Main Church of Christ in Greenville...We meet in the basement, and they have a lift chair if you arent able to go down steps...Meetings start at 6:00...Please feel free to ask me any questions that you would like...If it would be easier, feel free to call me at 937-548-8455 ( home)  or 937-621-5129 ( cell )....

Hang in there...it will get easier...Tammy

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only TRUE FRIENDS will leave footprints in your heart...And may that friendship have such a ONENESS that when one weeps the other will taste salt...Friends are like balloons ; once you let them go you can't get them back....So I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

My group * Little by Little* celebrated our 3 year anniversary at our meeting on the 3rd of this month...We had a great time...It was nice to have 3 guest to show up besides our regulars...Hopefully they will return to our next months meeting...

One of our members won a Slushie machine along with a salad container and a container for a meal...We played food bingo which was fun...Gifts were things such as protein bars, sugar free jello and etc...Marlene and I had scratch pads made up with our group name on them, to hand out as gifts along with ink pens...Everyone brought in a healthy covered dish...I am so impressed and proud of our group for their great choices when it comes to food dishes...The wishy washy women  were there to perform a skit...One of the women of our group sang for us, and Wayne read two poems that he had written...

If you happen to need a support group and are in my area of Greenville, Ohio feel free to contact me for further information about our group.

I agree 100% with this statement.  I would possibly be more emphatic:  Dr. Myers is an excellent surgeon.  The fact that you hear completely disparent opinions regarding his personality should throw a red flag or two if that's important to you.  Additionally, I had serious concerns about the professionalism of his staff.  However, as a surgeon, I have not one complaint and that skill set was what I was after.

I liked that group as well, and liked having the staff there.  The other support group is nice to.  BTW, I finally got my insurance okay.  I'll get my surgery date scheduled today.  Yeah!

You and your team did an amazing job pulling this event together.    It was so professional, with the programs, flowers and signage.  I plan a lot of events and this one was top notch.

The speakers were excellent .. so informative.  I was impressed that everyone kept on time and provided great information and answered everyone's questions.

I am not sure where you are going to hold next year's as the Vendor room and the meeting room were almost full.

Well Done ! ! !  Everything was very professional and well orchestrated.

Topic: WLS Support Groups in Columbus, OH???
Good morning everyone!  I was just wondering if there are any support groups that meet regularly in Columbus.  I know that Fresh Start Bariatrics meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, but I was curious about other options or less informal ones as well.  Does anyone have any information they would be willing to share?

Thank you for your time!
