I attend the support group in Solon. I like to consider us a Rogue group since we are all from different programs and meet independently. Good support and also keeps your feet to the fire! It is nice to get a little different perspective from all the different programs that we come from as well as different points of the journey that all of us are on

I am a little over one year out. Dr. Ben-Meir at St. Vincent's. Only regret is not doing it sooner!!! Get in a support group. It is the one thing that has helped me more than anything else. Either a hospital sanctioned group or a "rogue" support group like the one I am in. You need other people who understand what you are going through to support you and to also hold your feet to the fire when things get a little harder! Best of luck.

Hi Lisa,

I just had my surgery Friday the 17th and was released from the hospital on monday 20th. I guess they needed my room for you!

. We will be just a few days apart on surgery so could make good support for each other. I live on the west side of Cleveland by Ridgepark square. I am sure we will be able to meet at support group meetings.

Hope you are feeling good by the time you read this. I am still tender by my stitches, but that is to be expected. I go back on Monday for follow up.
