Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be having a M&G on April 27th at Tumbleweed located at 6959 E Broad St, Columbus, Ohio 43213. We will have access to the private party room from 5 pm-8 pm.
I have created a Facebook event page with all the information. Please let me know if you would like to attend. I will have to give the restaurant an updated head count when the date gets closer.

Thanks! I hope to see you there!
Hi all I am Jodi. I am three months out today and have lost 89.6lbs! Thirty of it was on my own and the rest from surgery. MY NSV for the day is~ I went to lunch with my family and I sat in a booth for the first time in years!
Sorry everyone - forgot I was posting on a discussion board - thought I was PMing.
Haven't quite figured out this board yet- my post seems to be in the middle of the thread. If I read instructions, will it help?
Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm writing this down so I can remember.
My cousin almost died 18 yrs ago from RNY - which was the time my MD started to suggest I have it. Over the years 2 more MDs jumped on board - but I was adamantly against it. Finally woke up - realized this is my best option, and has taken the last year to convince myself.
Started sx process in Nov - saw Dr. Shauer first to convince me - rest of appts delayed til end of Feb so I could just take a day off. Sx should have been mid April - but coworker having sx mid April so I have to wait - just had another surgery so now my timeline is delayed to Fall - I have to earn time off and diet & psych won't clear me anyhow - so guess God just wanted me to get used to the delay because of Barb. Have work to do! Knew it would be hard, didn't expect to be this hard this fast.
Changed surgeons to Kroh as he was always my choice and Shauer kept us waiting about 3 hrs - I have more to do in life than wait. Figured Matt was the better bet as he's not in charge of the program, doesn't have same media obligations, etc.... plus I'm friends with one of his ex secs - so I know Shauer is rarely on time. Saw Dr. Kroh a few wks ago - liked that his team also was with him for consult. Ironically - he also was 3 hrs late. Is he usually on time?
I work at CCF so St. Vincent wasn't an option.
Researching protein supplements - do you have any you love? Don't want to buy 2 pounds of powder and find I can't stand it. Don't have deep pockets either.
Do they encourage you to supplement protein?
Sorry if too much info (TMI). Thanks again for the tip.

I am almost 2 yrs out from my 6/17/11 rny surgery. I am down to 150 lbs from high of 254lb. It has taken dedication, and focus to stay on track with my diet and exercise. I read labels and make sure to take my vitamin supplements and drink lots of water. I cannot even see my 5 surgery sites, the scars have faded and only one is barely visable on my tummy. I sugguest you do what you are told, and the weight will fall off. One major hint that no one told me. Take milk of magnesia at night to empty your bowels. I suffered with severe pain in my belly, and could barely sit unitl I was told to take some. It really reduced the pain after surgery!!
Being worked up for RNY with Dr. Kroh at CCF. Tips/hints welcomed.
