After a long time of jumping through hoops, I made it. I was approved for VSG. United Healthcare Community Plan of Ohio has been great!!
I have medicaid and they will be paying for everything. I go to the surgeon the second to get an actual surgery date. It even covered all of my NUT appointments and requirements from the weight loss program. I have to pay nothing out of pocket.
Anyone here located in Cincinnati (Tri-County), Fairfield area looking for gym support.

I was looking for a follow up surgeon but Dr. Curry required $500.00 and was not paying that kind of money. Dr Christopher Northrup took me on. He actually went to Medical School with my Bariatric doc in NY
I see that you had Dr. Curry as I did...he is pretty great, just wi**** was easier to get to see him now...and that he done revisions to the DS
Marie, have you had surgery yet and if so was it Dr. Curry? I live in Frankfort, Ohio and had him.
Want to join our group...We are known as * Little by Little* Weight loss support group...We meet the first Tuesday of each month in the basement of the East Main Church of Christ here in Greenville...Doors open approx 5:15, with the meeting starting at 6:00...There is no membership fee...There's a lift chair available if you can't do stairs...Just holler down that you need help with the chair...Most of the members have had weight loss surgery, but there are also some that hasn't...So feel free to come if you don't even plan on having surgery...We are a fun group...We have interesting topics to talk about and discuss, we also do healthy food demonstrations and much more...If interested in attending, message me at : [email protected] for further information...Sometimes I don't get my messages here on OH...
