Hi everyone!
I'm new to the group. I started my WLS back in January and have a VSG date of 6/8/15. I am super excited to start my new life yet very nervous. I underwent my EGD yesterday, and all went well, so surgery is on track.
I have two young girls and work in the medical field. Hoping to find support here. (I'm sure I will!) :)
Anyone else here from the Toledo/Perrysburg/Maumee area?

I'm wondering if this varies by doctor? I also have Paramount and only had to have 3 months monitoring with the dietitian and no weight history (though I went in with it, they didn't need it.) I was approved within a week of submitting for approval. So, I started my process in January and am having surgery June 8th! :) My BMI is over 40.

My helpful tips would be to follow the plans that your doctors give you, if you have questions, as them!:), and then when you get frustrtated remind yourself why you did this in the first place! I am only 9 weeks out and I have had my ups and downs with my own personal thoughts but overall, I would do this again in a heartbeat!
Hello everyone this is my first time posting to this group. I have just recently received my surgery date at University Hospital in Cleveland kinda of nervous and excited at the same time. If anyone has any helpful tips all are welcome thanks in advance.
