i made it to the seminar at Akron City hospital, a bit late though but i made it :)
I was so glad i did get to go to the seminar at Akron City (Suma) tonight, i was late because i miss took the directions and went to Akron G. so by the time i found someone to help me over there at Akron G and pay the dollar for the parking garage, 40 mins later i made it to the "right one" YAY
let me say i am so glad i did make it though. My sister and my daughter did go with me, and they accualy took some notes and at the end when we got to talk to the Drs. i got to ask Dr. Z a few question, and i found out that "if you're on the medicaid card you don't need any dr referals" you do have to have 1 morbid condition (sleep apnea, dibeties, high bloodpresure)though wich i have several, the down side is that it may take up to a year to get everything that is needed for the surgery and Dr Z says that if my back surgeon says i need the back opperated on soon that i might think about getting that done just to help eleveate my pain, yes idealy it would be done after i had wls, but in my case i may want to get it done now.. I was so thankful he is a very "down to earth person" and there was no big "ego cause im a doctor" in him at all.. (which that is a fear for me) so i am completely comfortable with DrZ.. Yay.. thank you Dr. Z if you read theese..
My daughter accualy realy likes him too.. he joked around with us and even made my sister and daughter very hopeful that my a.. would get worked off (literaly hee hee) Jessy my sister said thats exactly what she needs, (me) meaning a caring enough doc that will keep me inline...
not that ive been a type of person out of line for bad things, but lets face it im way over my healthy stage, up over into plain death almost, and i need help, otherwise i wouldn't need this surgery.
I hope those of you that did get to go this evening enjoyed it a lot.
take care
Paula
