Mothers dont understand

My mother does not believe in this surgery. Of couse she has never been over weight, but has had me on a diet since I was 8. She wants to no that after you have surgery when you are on a liquid diet for 6 wks or so, why cant you do all that on your own, without the surgery. You know, be on a liquid diet without the surgery and still lose the weight quickly. She just doesnt understand.
