How long now?

I have been approved by the surgery committee at Ohio State University Hosp. I am now waiting for insurance approval. I have United Health Care (Definity) I was wondering how long it will take for their approval. They recieved my paperwork on Wed. the 19th. Any ideas? I am so with worry.

I have Tricare insurance and OSU got approval the day they submited it... i dont think the committee would have approved you if thay did not think insurnce would also.. My sister had Defiinity insurance and she got approval quickly also. i grew up in Bellefontaine... have you started the dietary classed at OSU yet?

I'm going to do the dietary classes at St. Ritas, not OSU. It is closerto me,since I work in Lima.

Give them a call a week after submittal just to be sure they got everything they need. I waited 30 days only to find that the ppwk was sent to the wrong place. Once it got to the right people, I was approved in 10 days.
