STILL TRYING

Has anyone out there had surgery at the Akron General Medical Center with Dr. Chlysta? Im still trying to find a way to have surgery. I have no insurance so I will have to be self pay. Trying to find some kind of financing. Jenny

I will be going to the seminar on the 25th up there at akron, they're saposed to have lots of information about how to pay and what wls patients be going through.. you guys will be glad you went Dr Z is awesome .. and thats the best advice i can give someone check out all the programs until you find the one that is the best fit for you .. i went to dr Chylstas seminar ... he just wasnt for me but i love dr Z .. good luck to you both Missy

You guys will like Dr Z. at Akron City Hospital thats a different program than Dr. Chlysta at Akron General. I was going to have Dr. Z do my surgery but good old Medicare decided that they were not able to do the surgery no more so now I'm going to St.Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland thats a center medicare covers cause they are acreditted as a center of excellence. But anyway I have a friend who works at City and is Good friends with Dr Z. you'll love him. I know they say if your Self Pay it's about $23,500 due before surgery . I did go to the seminar for Dr.z back in February Dr Z. And Dr. Brian Jones did the seminar. GOOD LUCK JIM

I am also in the first stages of trying to get ohio mediciad or now they have put on pcp.the new one is molina. I hoping I can be approved. I really need this surgery, so I can be healthy again. I'm only 30years old I want to enjoy my life . :help:.

I so understand what your saying.. I want to enjoy life to and if i would have kept looking into wls when i was 30 there would be no doubt i would be a lot healthier now. if you need you can email me, like i said im in the begining too, it would be nice to know a few people just starting.
