Dr. Fallang??

Anyone else attending Dr. Fallang's informational meeting on Thursday? Also, if anyone is willing to share info on whether they had laproscopic RNY through Dr. Fallang or if you had open, how long is your scar, I would really appreciate it. My hubby does not want me to have a big scar. Thanks, Darlene

Go for the lap rny. My scar is 10 inches long. I am tanning now trying to hide it. It is a big ugly scar. I do not recommned open. I think I may have a hernia also. Open surgery is just to risky. Take Care Barb

Darlene , Any time you have the chance to do the laproscopic go for it small incisions less time off work easier recovery i almost went to cleveland where the would not have done lap on someone my size i am so glad i researched it more and found a wonderful DR here in akron to do it for me Good luck on your journey Missy

Dr. F had only done 27 laps when I had my open surgery. He prefers to do open and has done almost 3000. My scar is 3-4 inches long. Do you want to lose weight, improve your life and health or not have a scar? Nothing I would ever wear will reveal my scar. Jenn 265/170.8/145
