Needle stick, prayers needed.. Update on Patty
am sorry that I have been awfully quiet. Times have been very tough for my family and I right now. After having the rent money stolen from my purse at Walmart things have continued in a downhill spiral. On top of this my ex decided that since I was working now he wouldn't help with Phillips 8th grade trip to Washington Dc or my daughter Sara's prom. Argh.. He doesn't take into consideration the next 2 schedules I have only 6 hours a week, duh.. What an idiot. Then two nights ago at work I was using the rest room and I noticed an open pregnancy test on the floor that someone had stolen. Well I picked it up and then noticed another small bag and picked it up as well. When I did an uncapped syringe got me. It stuck me good and drew blood. So after notifying management they took me to the hospital for a drug screen and a test for Hep, Hep C and HIV. I will have the results back by Friday and hopefully everything will be okay. But they will test again at 3, 6,9 and 12 months ago. So please pray for me that everything comes out as it should. I have come too far to have something happen now.
So.. this is why I have kind of been in hiding. Just majorly depressed over all that's going on in life right now. The only good thing is I have no appetitite so I am losing weight again fast. But I am also fatigued and need a long vacation from the troubles of this life.
I appreciate you all listening to me whine for a little bit and I feel much better after sharing this with you. I know everything is going to be alright in the end, its just the journey getting there is the bumpy part.
I hope all is well with all of you and that life is treating you well. I Love and miss you all.
Again Thank you so much for all of you who helped my friend Patty and her brother with all of those clothes. It has meant such a difference in their life. I have seen her smile more now than I have in a long time. And the mgr of a local grocery store said she "WALKED" to the grocery store last week with her little cart. This is the first time she had left the house in well over a year and she walked the 2 blocks to the store. I shopped for her last week, and many of the things on her list were sugar free and healthier choices. So I have to feel we have made a difference in their life. I bless you and thank you all.
Hugs and Smooshes,
Miss Laura
