Relocating to CINCINNATI

Hello Ohio I will be relocating to Cincinnati (Fairfield) in May. I will be looking for a PCP who is WLS friendly (I have had the surgery, but still need an understanding doc), a pediatrician for my girls, dentist, surgeon, and plastic surgeon in the area...and a JOB Any help with the docs would be wonderful. Any good companies for jobs will be great also. I am a Technical Editor with 10 years experience and I have a BS in English, and I will be attending UC to work on my Master's in January.

Welcome to Cincinnati! Where are you moving from? There are several large companies located in Cincinnati and the surrounding area. You should seek a head hunter to assist you with your job search. We have wonderful hospitals and Drs in the area, so you should have no problem. It would mostly depend on your insurance coverage. Most of the time you have to choose Drs that are "in" the network. I'm not sure where Fairfield is (I'm from MI by way of Northern Ohio), but I can recommend a fabulous OB/GYN office if you don't mind traveling a little bit. Good luck in your job search! I'd recommend Anthem/Wellpoint in Mason. My husband works there -- fabulous benefits! It's worth a shot!

Dolphin, welcome to Cincy...I'm not in the Fairfield area but my best girl-friends both live there...I will ask who one of them uses as docs ( she has a 9 yrs old), dent. and so forth....Where in Fairfield are you moving...we almost went there but ended up in Loveland, which is about 20min. East....so how old are the girls..I have a daughter that will be 6 and a son that is going on 4 May 14th...thats the best Mother's Day gift I can get this year...Anyway...as far as WLS Doc..the ONLY one is Dr. Curry..of course...he is fab......hope you have a safe transfer....Pam
