Anyone with trouble eating meat, potatoes?
Michelle, its so funny how everyone is different after this surgery. I can eat red meat, pork, lamb and everything you can't...what I can't eat is chicken, turkey, fish or eggs, I just started being able to eat shrimp, but haven't tried crab of other seafoods yet. I miss eating chicken so much that I crave wings and can't have them...I also have no problems eating really any fruits..I love and eat a ton of melon...favorite night time snack.. anyway...good luck....Pam.

I can eat anything........I mean anything! from steak, pork, chicken, seafood including lobster, crab, shrimp, fish, eggs, veggies, fruits, sweets...you name it I can do it, I can also do Pop, even though I rarely do, I can drink it. I'm not sure if this is all bad or good, to me it seems bad, for I miss the days I couldn't eat sweets, I rarely have sweets or bread but lately I've had a bad sweet tooth! UGH!! The only thing that gives me a hard time is bread, I always toast it for this is the only way it don't bother me. Oh I did get my gall bladder out several years back!!!
I can eat everything except rice. I am 21 months out and I went through a terrible sweet tooth month. I ate everything I could stuff in the mouth lol. I never get sick unfortunatly. I still fill up fast on meals but never on snacks. Old habits I guess. I still only am up 6 lbs and have been for 6 months. I am fine where I am as long as I stay there. I remember Dr. C telling me it is very normal to gain a little back after 18 months. I did and it's o.k./
