I had my surgery August 2,2005 and as of right now I have lost 130 lbs but I seem to be having more health problems now than before surgery before surgery I had HBP and diabetes well those are fixed but now I have the fistula and a bad gall bladder and a ulcer and a hiatal hernia class A esophagitis whatever that means and cysts on my ovaries I feel like I am falling apart and I get in such bad stomach and back pain that I double over and cry I stay in bed most of the day and they have me on oxyfast for pain every 3-4 hrs I stay nauseated and just feel plain disgusted they said that the things that are wrong shouldnt be causing this severe of pain but are doing nothing to find out where it is coming from I know that with the pain it is all in my ribs and breast bone and stomach around my belly button and circling around to my upper back where it swells out and makes it look hump backed they are wanting to glue the fistula which I am going to let them try but I guess all in all I am just scared with all these problems any suggestions where could the pain be coming from ? Cindy, This is way too complex for me here, but let me just say that there is a pretty good chance of healing a fistula with injecting fibrin glue and there is almost no risk to it. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. Good luck, Dr. C
