need to get this surgery done health is declining

Hi my name is Angela Hickman and i live in toledo ohio i am looking for a consultation with a doctor who accpets medicare and medicaid this has been a very frustrating process and i need help anyone got any for me i am a 28 yr old mother of 3 and cannot do anything with them that requires going outside or exertion thanks for your time btw i am 5'6" and weigh in around 303 (last time i dared to look) i have type 2 diabetes chronic back pain elevauted blood pressure and constant fatigue

I replied to your post below. Is Medicare your primary or secondary? Also, do you take any meds. or your problems? Do you have any problems you haven't listed above. The more the better, because Medicaid will give some problems "more" importance than others.

dunno if u got the response i typed in but i had a psych dr for numerous problems going on with me i m supposed to be on metformin for diabetes and on seroquel for anti psych now i m worried about the evaluation ruining my chances

I would come right out and ask the psych. your seing if he/she thought you would be a good candidate for WLS. You can always get a second opinion, and at least you would know if it is something that may or may not hinder your approval. Best of luck!!

Angela St Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio takes Medicare that is the program I am going thru. The staff there is great and they will let you know right away whether or not you are a canidate. You can look at there web site at svch.net and get all the info you need
