i think i've hit a plateau
Well for the last month or so i've been only losing about 3 pounds a week, but now for the last 2 weeks my weight has stayed the same. not up or down
any one have any suggestions on how to get it moving again? please other than the yucky protein drinks. I'm only allowed 3 meals a day plus a snack 3 ounces of food at each meal.any idea as to how long it will last.i was hopeing to be down a hundred pounds by my 6 month appt. which is on may 15th.

Three things to do....one....drink more water! I know you don't like the protein drinks but get more protein in and up your activity level....walking etc.
It is very normal to hit a plateau at around 4 months out!
Someone on the June board swears by eat strawberries....not many calories and they are pretty plentiful this time of year..

I'm also in a rut. I've only lost 9 lbs in the last 2 months, and my surgery was just before yours. I go to the gym 4-6 times a week and accumulate between 7-10 miles a visit (walk and recumbent bike) ,I just can't seem to shake it.
I just try to think about how far I have come in such a short time, it will happen when the time is right.

Don't sweat it, Rich. Month 3 is a common one to hit a plateau with. It's your body taking a chance to regroup. I dropped two sizes during my first plateau, even though I wasn't losing little or now weight. Keep on doing what you need to and your body will kick back into gear when it's done regrouping.
