Someone help me with post op questions?

I am 5 months out, and having complications. I go for my 10th dilation on Friday, because the opening from my stomach into my small intestines keeps closing up. I had extreme bruising right after surgery. Did anyone else experience this? I had a lump the size of a baseball at the top of my chest, with severe bruising. It took 2 months for this to go away. Just wondering if anyone else ever have anything like this.... Also, now along with not being able to keep food down for 5 months I am told that my primary peristaltic wave is not working at all(this is the motion in your esophagus that pushes food into your stomach). Has anyone else had this, and what can be done for it? I can not seem to find any answers.... Any help would really be appreciated. Everything worked before I had my surgery!!!!!! Lois

Lois, I havent had any problems like that myself, but I did want to encourage you to hang in there and keep looking for answers to your problem. How is your nutritional status with all of these digestive problems. I hope and will pray that the Docs figure out whats going on with you and get you fixed up and onto a healthier life I hope someone here can offer you some helpful information Hugs Laura

I am having some nutritional issues, that I am trying to control with supplements and protein drinks. I know that I am very tired all of the time, and have no energy. Thanks for your response and prayers. Hugs, Lois
