When is the meeting ?

I am going on a weekend trip with my daughter on the 20th of april. We are going to nashville. Has anyone been there and stayed at the gaylord resort and would you recommend it. Or would you recommend a hotel in the city instead? Thank You Barb

Barb, The Gaylord Hotel in Nashville is AMAZING!!! I'll be staying there in June. When I stay at a Gaylord, I have a hard time leaving! They are honestly the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. I stayed in the one in Orlando a few months ago and hardly left the premises - they have great restaraunts in them (albeit pricey ones!) and the one in Orlando had an alligator/turtle pit that I could stare at for HOURS. Live foliage, waterfalls, fresh flowers everywhere! I thought I had some pics I could share with you, but they are on my work computer. Have a great trip!! melissa

Thank you, That feedback helped me make up my mind. They are all booked on the 20th But I got booked for the 21 st and 22 of April. $264.00 a night. (Wow) I got the balcony room. There is a huge country bar there. I still need to learn how to line dance. I am so excited. I am living my life for the first time in 10 years. I love going on vacation now. We will stay in the city on the 20th. Would you recommend summer clothes for in there. I know it is all in a dome. Also I am going to see Kenny Chesney Thurs night.. WOW !!!! LIfe is good !!!!! I stayed there when it was the Opryland Hotel and it was awesome. They have the most beautiful indoor garden that I've ever seen. It dwarfs Krohn's Conservatory. You feel like you are on a tropical island. There are a lot of restaurants. I don't remember an indoor pool, but I wasn't looking. We stopped at the TN visitors center on the way and found a coupon for one night for $99. That's all we stayed. Cathy

Wow what a great price. A sat night is $294.00 a friday is $226.00. Thursday is booked up. So we will stay downtown. We did get the garden rooms with the balconey. I never spent this much on a room. I hope it is worth it. My daughter is paying her half so that helps. Thanks Barb
