I don't know if anyone can help me but I'm desperate! I am having a hard time finding insurance companies that cover this surgery. I have been looking for a job for the last month and every job I look into they do not cover this surgery. I have gone to two big hospitals in my town and niether of them cover it. I live in Marion, Ohio and at this point willing to travel to Columbus, Marysvillle, surrounding area's. Where does everyone work that covers this surgery? Does anyone know of big companies around here that the ins. covers the surgery? I just don't know what to do. I'm so discouraged. I don't have the money to pay for it myself and I really need this surgery. If anyone has any idea's or can tell me what I should do, please I am open to everything. Thank you for listening to me.

Are you working now? If you have low income look into state funded Medicaid...I don't know what your stats are because they are pretty strict in some cases (I have been denied 3 times, but still trying) but if you have the health problems and no money it may be worth a try.

Hi Kim, These are the replies that I received a couple of months ago when I posted the same question: Cracker Barrel (must work at least 32 hours for 120 days for benefits) Home Depot (benefits for part-timers after 90 days I think) Time Warner Cable (benefits for PT) SBC-AT&T Ryder Trucking JCPenney (I believe) I work at Columbus Children's Hospital, they offer benefits to PT (16 hrs & up, but surgery is only covered at 50% with a cap of $12,500.) Hope this helps! Darlene

Kim, Verizon Wireless has Cigna and they covered my surgery 100%. They are always looking for Customer Service Reps and Sales people in the stores. Good Luck! Julie
