Riverview Health Center contacted me after I put my information in OH. I gave them my insurance information and they contacted me back about a week or so later and said my insurance did cover it but they were out-of-network for my insurance, BUT Dr. Fallang would do my surgery for what the insurance pays!!! Is it just me or does this sound a little to good to be true????

HI and Congrats Even though my surgeon was in network my insurance did not cover the entire cost of the procedure. My Dr. accepted what the insurance would cover, about a $5,000 difference. Just get everything in writing before your surgery. I've lost 57 pounds since 12-22-05 this was the best thing I ever did for myself. Good Luck Dana

I have seen other people post on here about Riverview Health Center and Dr. Fallang. Everything I have seen and read about him has been wonderful. I recently went to his seminar, and I really liked him and his staff. He is very thorough in his seminar. His staff has been very kind to me and very helpful. At least I would check him out. They also told me about doing surgery for what the ins pays. I would imagine there are forms to sign to make sure of this. I haven't made it that far yet either. But they are helping me with insurance approval. Tracy

Nope, not too good to be true! I have to date paid Dr. F a whopping $90 for my surgery. That was 3 $30 co pays for my office visits. He takes what your insurance pays and doesn't bill you! I really liked him, very skilled and witty and gives his own 5 hour seminar and will stay after to answer private questions. All of his staff are great. Most of the nurses on the floor have had the surgery. OH BTW, he has his own hospital, so no hospital fees either. AND they will put it all in writing if you want! Jenn 265/181.6/145

That is so great I am so excited. I go March 30th for the 5 hour seminar. My insurance has already said that they would cover the procedure they were supposed to be sending my letter of medical necessicity and other things the insurance asked for but I haven't heard back from them if they would cover it for me, but it has only been a week. How long did it take you to get everything together and have your surgery? When did you have your surgery and how much have you lost?

Enjoy the semiar. He really is a dynamic speaker. And a little handsome too! They called my insurance co on the 15th or 16th of August and my ins. co. called me on the 31st to let me know that I was approved. I could have had my surgery at the end of September, but chose to wait until Oct. 24th to line up with my husband's vacation. I had my surgery 10/24/05 and my 5th month anniversary will be Friday. As of this morning, I have lost 84 pounds, but I have been on a stupid platuea for about 10 days. I am hoping it breaks soon. Good luck. I hope you like Dr. F. BTW, the blond named Lynn, who should be at the seminar is his wife. If you ask they will take you on a tour of the facility. If you need transport back to the chapel, Bruce will take you back on an electric cart. HTH, Ask if you have any more questions. I will be happy to answer! Jenn 265/181/145
