Looking for Dr. Curry
Hello,
I haven't been on here in months but I'm back now!!
Anyhoo, I had surgery with Dr. Curry in July and my husband is trying for lap band. I know Dr. Curry was moving from Deaconess and it seems we are unable to find him!
Can someone help?! We were told that Tracy (insurance lady) left. Did she leave Deaconess and she's still with Dr. C or is she gone completely?
We have left message after message and no one returns our calls.
We spoke to someone named Peggy and we might as well not have. She did nothing. Is she with Deaconess or Dr. C or both?
I have tried to reach Charity the receptionist through email with no success. Is she gone to or just ignoring me?
I finally did reach someone today but didn't get my questions answered- she was very cryptic.
What gives?? Can someone answer my questions? Where can we find the doctor?
Thanks!!
I agree with Michael. I only went to Deaconess because that's where Dr. C was. He could have been practicing in a back alley and I still would have gone with Dr.Curry. Dr. Curry is my doctor no matter where he practices. I had no problem with the treatment that I received at Deaconess when I had surgery, but Deaconess...leave Dr. C and his staff alone and quit hindering patients from getting hold of their doctor.
AMEN CATHY!!
It's not like our freaking hairdresser switched salons on us and we're trying to track them down - this is the man who SAVED our lives and I am not quite sure how it isn't illegal to run interference. It's CERTAINLY unethical and doesn't bode well for the new program.
Like Cathy, these are MY thoughts after seeing how people are being treated. Let's see how long this post lasts...
I'm with you and Cathy. I only went to the Deaconess because it's where Dr Curry was. The patient care there stinks and I am thrilled that Dr Curry is no longer going to be there. That registration thing was always a nightmare and the wait endless. You needed to get there 40 minutes before your appointment to be on time! Its a shame that the Deaconess isn't answering questions for potential patients. That's the way the buck talks though. They certainly don't want to send people to a doctor who isn't going to making those bucks for them. You'd think that they would realize that people would look elsewhere for services when they are treated rudely for any reason! They may pull our post Melissa, but they can't stop word of mouth!
And you know how women love to complain about bad service to anyone in earshot!

DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Curry is the best. "What was Deaconess thinking?" to quote another Dr. Did anyone get a letter from Deaconess saying you could still see Dr. Curry there? Then why aren't they giving information and retuning phone calls? To anyone who is considering wls surgery you could not ask for a better surgeon or a better or more caring human being.
