Ann Dee??????

I will have to post pics after the wedding for everyone to see...I am gettng excited but what alot of work putting it together, and the cost..HOLY COW!! My daughter is so simple and didn't want a huge expensive wedding, but still it's unbelievable ...a huge expense is the photographer.. Hey you guys know there is going to be a National Obesity Help conference in Lexington,Ky this October? you will see me post alot about it since I am the one putting it together. I will let you know when the hotel contract is signed (hopefully within the next day or so)...it's going to be so much fun, I hope you all plan on coming so we can get together for a weekend. Brenda

I just got a date last Friday..... April 17th...guess I'm on clear liquids for Easter... but that's ok I am happy to finally be able to get it done.

Wow I bet your so excited to get the ball rolling. I know I was. My doctor didnt require a diet. I kind of wished he did. My first Bowel Movement almost killed me. It was horrible. I was so sick and passing so much gas and sweating and vomiting. It is like you get when you dump.. But much worse. My daughter was there to help me thru it thank god. I thought to my self. What have I done. I thought it was how my life was going to be. I was missable. Really you get back to normal after one month. The first month was a very hard month. It only gets better. Today I am wearing my size 12s. Just think you my size I was when I had the surgery. and I think your my age. Your going to do great. How tall are you. I am 5`8 also are you having lap or open. God cant waite to see your change. Same goes for Jimmy and Barbara Just seeing you all go thru this is so exciting Hugs Barb

I am just guessing about the clear liquids from what I have read.. I go for final preop April 3.... gallbladder ultrasound and blood work.. I'll find out for sure then. I'm 5'6" and getting an open... not sure if my hiatal hernia and esophagus issues are the reason, but I suspect so. I have a friend who is waiting for insuance approval for the Barix.and my sister is dragging along at OSU waiting for her chart to go to the board for approval... Bunch of gvnmt bs I think... But I am anxious to see them get going as well...and I agree it will be great to see the changes of the people here! I turned in my medical leave forms today at work and my supervisor approved my time off. I go to Disney World with my whole family in June for my parents 50th... 25 of us...will be so fun to watch the kids! That is 7 weeks post op... so I need to be all better by then. I took 2 weeks vacation at the end of my leave so I will be off 8 weeks, that way they can hire a traveling tech to cover for me in one strech to cover both surgery and vacation. I had open surgery to. You will be fine by the 7th week. My strenght came back in the 6th week. It happened over night, The first month was really hard I had to rest alot. You will be aroung 30-50 pounds smaller by the time you go on your trip. are you taking your vitiams now and b12 . IO started mine early because I was afraid of getting sick before my surgery. I had open surgery I have a 10 inch scare from under my breast clear down to my belly button. Your going to have a great summer. My problem with my surgery was it was in sept and I had to fight food because of the winter months and the holidays. I am a surviver. You are all going to have a great time. I know me me and all my family had a blast in Tenn. It is so much fun to get together like that. Then there will be you feeling so beautiful and good about yourself. Your almost there Hugs Barb
