My pcp took me off my las****er pill on 03-02-06 sense then I gained 9 pounds water wheight I guess is this normal and when my body adjust you think I'll start loseing Thanks Michael

Mike, My doctor took me off 2 of my water pills. That left me with one in the morning. I swelled up for like 2 weeks. Then all went to normal. You will be fine Take Care Barb

Barb and Michael, My PCP took me off of my Lasix and my spirolactone as well post op. I had a little rebound edema for a week or so and have only had to use the lasix on several occasions. My Doc trusts that I know the signs of when I am going into failure and know when to take a low dose of lasix to prevent overloading. Just keep doing what your doing Michael and your body will settle into your new routine. The best of luck to you Laura
