I talked to an angel today!!

For those of you that read my post Friday about how upset i was about being denied for the third and "final" (I thought) time...I had left a message at the appeals board and a man called me this morning. I was trying to explain to him what happened and that this was my final appeal unless I wanted to go through my county courts...And that this denial was based on the wrong information. He could not give me advice but said that he could take the appeal information and I could request an appeal with the new information, and then he also said I couldresubmit my surgery request with the new information, like the old appeal stated... He actually LISTENED to me and then he told me that his wife had had the surgery three years ago. It was so great to actually talk to a person and then for that person to understand what I was going through...I was so happy and relieved that I cried and cried..I am waiting for a new more detailed paper from the foot surgeon and then I will resubmit.....Is that hope I feel again?????????YES it is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debbie I'm glad to hear that you have seen some light at the end of the tunnel. I didn't have the denials that you have had but I remember how anticipated I was to hear my results and I could only imagine how aweful it must feel to be denied not only once but 3 times. Bless you dear!! I'm glad that you finally got ahold of someone that was willing to take the time and answer your questions and put you at ease.
