Deaconess Lap Band/ scared of insurance

I have read all of these horror stories about insurance denials. Especially about medical mutual. Anyone with medical mutual please reply. Anyone that has an eating problem and not an exercise problem please reply. Has anyone been approved for insurance coverage without having a stable over weightness of 100 pounds. I have been as low as 180 pounds before my rheumatism through running over an hour a day (did not keep that weight for longer than a month). My five year history varies from 238 down to 180, then I got R.A and I am at 250. Did not fix my problem with food. Would insurance recognize that I have done everything I can. Man was I upset at the worth after rheumatism. I had worked for years to try to be slim never could be normal. I have a strange history. I use to exercise very hard until I got rheumatoid arthrits. Would it be easier for an R.A Patient to get approval? I desperately need to get hte weight off my feet I cannot stand for more than an hour at a time. Dr. Curry is the only in network cincinnati doctor under Super med. Is anyone familiar with his method? Who trains for eating better? Are the steps to surgery direct? I have always been overweight, and have had success at weight loss through strenuous exercise. Now I have rheumatoid arthritis and can no longer run, I have had two surgeries on my elbow joints, and my foot does not rotate, it needs surgery. I have gained over fifty pounds this year alone! I am afraid for my heart, and my blood sugar again. I have a history of Symptom X diabetes at 12 years old til college age and was on Glucophage. I have anxiety and depression.
