HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!

i am a nurse...LPN. does anyone know who or what companies/hospitals/doctors offices/nursing homes...ANYONE who has an insurance plan that will cover wls? i have been fighting for this for 6 years and have went through 3 insurance companies already...can anyone point me in the direction that i need to be going to get this done? i just found out today that my current insurance is J-U-N-K! i am beyond desperation.

have you tried the OSU hospital? I don't know if their insurance covers, but you would think it would since they have a bariatric program. I know Blanchard Valley in Findlay does, that is where I had my surgery and several of their employees are in the support group. That would be quite a drive for you though.

Children's Hospital Columbus has UHC & covers at 50% with a cap of $12,500. Dr. Fallang takes "creative" financing for the rest, so I've heard.

Have you checked with Barix? (Since you are a patient of Dr. Stelmak and all) I noticed that 2 of the nurses I had when I was there had also had the rny, so I would guess that they have insurance in place for that.

I work for Ohio Health... My surgery was approved after the first letter Once i had all the testing done it took only 2 days at the insurance co. I have Difinity (Beech Street)
