Angela, You did an awesome thing by contacting your HR department. That is exactly what I would have advised you to do next. When writing that letter to the corporate office, I would suggest you try to gather letters (or even a petition) from other co-workers, who feel the benefit should be added. I can assure you, I have talked to many, many of your co-workers--there are many interested. I could even get my husband to help, if you would like. He is employed by the same employer as you and is an officer. He has many contacts, as he has been there for over 15 years. Best of luck! Let me know if there is anything I can do. Good luck, Angela! Have you tried to have the procedure financed? I believe Tracy gave me the number when I called a long time ago. Of course, it didn't work for me, but perhaps it will work for you. Take care.
