looking for support here

Hey all I posted yesterday with no response, I really just want to know if anyone else has had to have these tests. I am not looking foreward to them tomorrow. Will no one feel sorry for me? Kidding, but I would appreciate some encouragemant. Thanks

Back up copy in case you missed the first one. Hey Pam Don't know how much help I can be. I have had my Esophagus checked in 2004, but they went through my mouth and down my throat. and they put me to sleep to do it. Also I had throat surgery in 1989, They put a breathing tube up my nose and it was there for three days, I was awake when they took it out. That is an experience I never want to repeat. A couple of weeks after the breathing tube come out I had to have a scope done. They went up my nose and down my throat, I was also awake for that. although it wasn't as bad as the breathing tube. It was a most unpleasant experience. Well I wish you all the luck in the world with this and your life. Hope I was able to help just a little. Jimmy

Hey,Jimmy, I saw that you picked Dr Curry and I have seen that he is moving from Deconess...Then while I was searching around the site I saw his name on the list for doctors at the Barix center in Groveport...DO you know if he is going there?

Ok....if you click on the Bariatric Hospital shortcut in the blue box on the left under Resources...and go to Barix Center..... you are listed. You might want to inform somebody of the error. Pam, I have never had that with the nose. I am sure it is a real little tube. They did that to my grandson and I watched/ They did it with a real little skinny tube. They didnt even give him nothing... But really babies are pretty touch. Because they dont know whats up. Maybe if you close your eyes. and like others said relax you will be fine. Best wishes Barb
